The main entrance to the building is guarded by an iron gate of intricate design that opens inward upon a command issued from inside the premises. A video security system watches it night and day and there is a speaker system set up where a visitor can buzz in, speaking to someone on the inside who can allow them entry.

These are the places that are in the immediate and close vicinity of the mansion. In the immediate area are the areas specifically for sports, the garage, and a hedge maze. A little farther is the Japanese Gardens, track, hiking trails, and horse stables.

| Around School
There is much around the school that is accessible to those inhabiting the mansion, even if some of it requires staff permission or accompaniment.. The large Breakstone Lake, Spuyten Dyvil Cove, and the mountain range where hiking takes place.

| First Floor
The first floor is the main level of the mansion. It inclues the entrance, hallways, classrooms, staff offices, a conference room, the lounge, library, and gymnasium. It's also the busiest floor of the mansion during the day, though there is a set curfew at night.

The second level of the mansion contains the Kitchens, Dining Rooms, Rec Room, and also the Staff Quarters. This is probably the second most busiest floor during the day where students often wander after curfew when they cannot sleep.

Is made up of the normal basement stuff: storage space, a wine cellar and old tunnels from when the house was first built. Okay, maybe those are quite normal. These tunnels are probhibited, even to the X-men.

The current hide-out for the Brotherhood, located in New York City under the disguise of a normal Brownstone Townhouse. It has five above ground floors and the top four floors, all accessible by the staircase. The idea is to be able to house and keep safe the members of the Brotherhood. You might think that hiding in the open is a bad idea, but be assured that it is protected by a high-tech security system. Besides, what do you think would happen if someone tried to get into a building full of mutants?
